Nestled amidst lush carpet green fields and hammocks, Loire valley is referred to as the Cradle of the French Language, and the Garden of France due to the abundance of vineyards, fruit orchards (such as cherries), and artichoke and asparagus fields, which line the banks of the river.Notable for its historic towns, architecture and wines, the valley has been inhabited since the Middle Palaeolithic period. Les Invalides – Paris,  Napoleon Bonaparte’s Tomb.
A funny story by Camile – When Paris fell to Germany during WWII, Hitler came to visit the tomb of Napoleon. Being the
egoist that he was, he brought a mirror along with him to look at the tomb so that he does not have to bend his neck ( an
expression of salutation ). In the process of watching the grave in the mirror, Hitler had to crane his neck and It so
happened that while he was craning his neck his hat fell down accidently and he bent down impulsively to pick up his hat.
Now, the Parisians say that not only did Hitler salute the emperor, but he also removed his hat during the salutation.
He gave Napoleon a full fledged ceremonial salute.
