Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi or "Fountain of the Four Rivers" at Piazza Navona. It was designed in 1651 by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Roman Forums: is a rectangular forum surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the center of the city of Rome.

An uncanny comparison creep up obviously. Which city is more beautiful, Rome or Paris ? What I found distinguished Rome from Paris was that whereas Paris is a city of palaces and castles, Rome is a city of artisans. Rome looks like a city of escape, where creative energies seem liberated and where past and present imbibe each other to produce an intoxicating piece of beauty.
